The event, organized by Prof. David Beljonne and supported by DC3 (Cristina Lรณpez-Cava), brought together doctoral candidates and leading researchers for a dynamic programme combining training, lectures, and collaborative sessions. The agenda featured soft skills workshops on ethics, integrity, and data/IP protection, alongside high-level scientific lectures by Johannes Gierschner (IMDEA Nanoscience, Spain), Jenny Nelson (Imperial College London, UK), and Koen Vandewal (University of Hasselt, Netherlands), covering topics from chromophore emission to device physics in organic photovoltaics.

A main part was the DCsโ€™ presentation of their project progress. Moreover they engaged in brainstorming and planning activities, fostering both scientific exchange and professional development. A computational chemistry hands-on training has also been part of the DCsโ€™ training schedule.
