The ๐—˜๐—œ๐—™๐—™๐—˜๐—Ÿ Industrial ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฝ is coming to Dresden, Germany โ€“ April 13โ€“17, 2026!

๐Ÿ”ฌ The workshop will focus on the science and applications of organic solar cells. Two leading experts in the field will provide insights spanning from vacuum deposition techniques in organic electronics to the application of organic LEDs and photodetectors in diagnostics and therapy.

Our doctoral candidates (DCs) will present the progress of their individual research projects, highlighting ongoing collaboration within the consortium. A key emphasis of the workshop will be the industrial perspective. In addition to a hands-on characterisation training session, participants will gain valuable insights into career pathways from academia to industry through contributions from our industrial project partners.

A major highlight of the workshop will be a site visit to Heliatek in Dresden, where participants will explore the journey from laboratory research to market-ready technologies. The visit will include discussions on intellectual property as well as a guided tour of the companyโ€™s laboratories and fabrication facilities.

The second half of the workshop will be dedicated to a presentation skills training tailored for the DCs.

Throughout the event, there will be ample opportunities for discussion, planning of secondments, and exchange of ideasโ€”fostering a strong and collaborative research network in action.
